Terms of Service

SkinHunter (“the Service”, “we”) is an informational and analytics tool for Counter-Strike 2 (“CS2”) items. It aggregates publicly available pricing data from third-party marketplaces and computes derived metrics such as price spreads, estimated fees, liquidity indicators, and potential trade routes. By accessing the Service or joining the waitlist you agree to these Terms.

The Service is nota marketplace, broker, escrow service, or payment provider. We do not buy, sell, hold, or transfer items or funds, and we do not execute, intermediate, or guarantee any transaction. All trades happen entirely on third-party marketplaces, under those marketplaces’ own terms, between you and those platforms.

Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Metrics such as “net profit”, “ROI”, or “route” are mathematical estimates derived from observed listing prices and published fee schedules. They are informational only and are not a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

Trading virtual items involves risk, including the risk of losing money. Prices move, listings disappear, fees change, and items can remain unsold indefinitely. We make no promise, guarantee, or representation that any trade, route, or strategy shown by the Service will be profitable. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for trading losses, missed profits, unsold inventory, or any other financial outcome of decisions you make using the Service.

Pricing and availability data is collected automatically from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate at any moment — listings can sell or be withdrawn between our refresh cycles. Fee schedules are maintained manually and may lag marketplace changes. Always verify current prices, fees, and availability on the relevant marketplace before trading. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

The marketplaces referenced by the Service are independent businesses. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any of them. Your use of any marketplace is governed solely by that marketplace’s terms, and you are responsible for complying with them, including any restrictions on trading, bots, or regional availability.

SkinHunter is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike, CS2, and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation. Virtual items remain subject to the Steam Subscriber Agreement.

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the Service or any timeline for access. Access may open gradually, be limited, modified, or withdrawn at our discretion. Features described on this site may change before or after launch.

You may not scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service’s data, probe or disrupt its infrastructure, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed one hundred euros (€100) or the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
